Cette pièce est une installation et aussi une performance. Ce que je fais c’est que je rentre dans le robot et me promène dans un espace public. L’idée est d’interagir avec les gens, autour de cette pièce.
LÃ , mon travail est une ironie sur la technologie.
J’ai fais un robot du tiers-monde, ce qui veut dire pour moi que c’est un robot de bois. Le seul moyen pour que ce robot fonctionne est que je rentre dedans et que je marche et me promène, portant une sorte de costume, un costume en bois.
En même temps le robot est fait de blocs de bois, des bois gravés, c’est un bois gravé dissimulé. Je peux l’utiliser pour imprimer, ce qui fais partie de l’idée de mon travail, utiliser des parties de cette installation, je présente la matrice, les blocs de bois, et les impressions.
L’idée de départ de ma performance était qu’une personne utilise la matrice et deux personnes les impressions. Ce que je fais ici c’est seulement la performance avec la matrice.
Tous les jours, j’essaie de faire quelque chose de différent. Un jour j’ai joué au ballon. Aujourd’hui je portais un écriteau disant ce que je peux faire, ce que le robot peut faire, offrant mon travail, de la même façon que les gens sans domicile écrivent sur un papier, dans la rue.
J’ai eu cette idée pour aujourd’hui. Demain je ferai quelque chose de différent, voilà .

This piece is an installation piece and a performance. What I do is I get inside the robot and I walk around in public space, the idea is an interaction with the public in a way I can be related with people around the piece.
The thing of my work in this case is an irony with technology.
I’m doing a thirld-world robot which means for me a robot made of wood. The only way this robot is functional is because I get inside the piece and I walk and I go around, wearing this kind of suit, a wood-suit.
Which is at the same time made of wood blocks, wood cut, it’s a wood cut complety dissemble, I can use it to print real prints which is part of the idea of my work, using assembled part of the installation, because I present the matrix, the wood blocks and the prints combined with the matrix.
The original-idea of my performance was one person using the matrix, the wood blocks, and 2 persons using the prints. What I’m doing here is only doing the performance with the matrix.
Everyday I’m trying to do something different. One day I was playing with a ballon. Today I had like an homeless’ poster saying what I can do, what the robot can do, offering my work, in the same way that the homeless write on paper, in the streets.
I had that idea for today. Tomorrow i’ll do something different, that’s it.
